Dunsmuir Project

The Dunsmuir project is my effort to assimilate a personal mythology into the existent mythology connected to the region in and around Dunsmuir, CA. The work elucidates a commingling of supernatural narratives, and it explores the human propensity to create elaborate rationale for inexplicable phenomena. The project uses a diversity of approaches to achieve this end—drawing, painting, motion-sensor photography, facilitated group work, bookbinding, pilgrimage—and the whole of the work can be viewed through as a book via a link at the bottom of this page.
